About C2M Consulting
C2M Consulting helps allied health practitioners make clearer, more confident decisions about practice growth, marketing, and business direction.
For many clinic owners, the challenge is not a lack of ambition. It is the complexity of running a practice well while also trying to lead a team, attract the right patients, communicate clearly, and make sound business decisions.
C2M exists to bring structure to that complexity, so growth feels deliberate, evidence-based, and achievable.
Meet Wallace Long
I’m Wallace Long, founder of C2M Consulting.
I work with allied health practitioners and practice owners who want to grow with more clarity and less guesswork. My role is to help make the business side of practice ownership easier to think about, whether that means refining your direction, improving your marketing, clarifying your message, or working through the decisions that come with growth.
What I enjoy most is helping practitioners take something that feels broad, messy, or overwhelming and turn it into a practical plan they can actually move forward with.
Why allied health practices
Allied health practitioners operate in a unique space. You are balancing clinical responsibility, patient trust, referral relationships, business viability, and often the day-to-day pressure of leading a team or building a practice from the ground up.
That context matters.
Marketing and growth advice only becomes useful when it reflects the realities of how health practices actually work. C2M Consulting is built around that belief: that allied health practitioners need advice that is not only strategic, but relevant, ethical, and grounded in the way care is delivered.
How I think about growth and marketing
My approach is evidence-based, practical, and shaped by the idea that good decisions need a clear rationale behind them.
That means I am less interested in chasing tactics for their own sake, and more interested in helping you understand:
- What your practice most needs right now
- Which priorities should come first
- Why those priorities matter
- How each decision supports the kind of practice you are trying to build
The goal is not simply to “do more marketing.” It is to create alignment between your clinical strengths, your business goals, your communication, and the way people experience your practice.
When that alignment is in place, growth becomes easier to understand and easier to sustain.
Experience and background
My background combines health-sector experience, communication strategy, and practical business thinking.
Over time, I have worked across marketing, education, content, and strategic communication in ways that have helped me understand both the operational pressures and growth opportunities within health-related organisations.
That experience shapes the way I work today: calm, structured, and focused on helping practitioners think clearly about the next step rather than becoming overwhelmed by everything at once.
I also host the Health Practice Insights podcast, where I speak with allied health practitioners, clinic owners, and sector leaders about the realities of running and growing a practice. Those conversations keep me close to the questions, pressures, and opportunities that matter most to the people I serve.
What it is like to work together
Working with C2M Consulting is designed to feel thoughtful, grounded, and useful from the first conversation.
That usually means:
- Taking the time to understand your practice, goals, and constraints
- Asking the right questions before jumping to solutions
- Bringing structure to decisions that feel unclear or overloaded
- Translating ideas into practical, achievable next steps
Most practitioners do not need more noise. They need someone who can help them step back, make sense of what matters most, and move forward with confidence.
That is the role I aim to play.
Who I work best with
C2M Consulting is a strong fit for allied health practitioners and clinic owners who:
- Want to grow their practice in a thoughtful, sustainable way
- Value clear thinking over hype
- Want marketing and communication to reflect their professional standards
- Are looking for strategic support, not just isolated tactics
- Need clarity on what to prioritise next
If you are trying to build a practice that is both professionally rewarding and commercially sound, this work is designed to support that.
Start with a conversation
If you are at a point where practice growth feels important but the path forward still feels unclear, a conversation is a good place to start.
We can look at where your practice is now, where you want it to go, and what may need attention first. In many cases, even that first discussion brings more clarity to the decisions in front of you.
I recently engaged Wallace to lead our Cancer Foundation’s rebranding, including a new logo and communication strategy.
I chose him based on his outstanding work on two previous projects. Wallace excels at clear, strategic communication and simplifies the creative process into achievable steps.
With his extensive experience and strong industry contacts, he consistently delivers results on time and exceeds expectations.
